Abstract:
PET/MR faces many challenges in entering clinical routine examination. As an innovative medical device, its value has not been widely recognized by the clinic. Different manufacturers provide different software and hardware platforms, which lead to inconsistent equipment operation, scanning and reconstruction, and post-processing technology. Since 2018, more than ten domestic medical institutions have successively installed UIH integrated PET/MR equipment. Experts from the installed hospital conducted in-depth discussions on the challenges of PET/MR examinations. According to the characteristics of UIH PET/MR equipment, this discussion reached a consensus on whole-body bed planning, whole-body protocol group planning, spatio-temporal integrated scanning and image quality control. It is expected that this consensus will provide suggestions for the follow-up PET/MR clinical work.
