Abstract: Chemerin is a kind of adipokines discovered recently, which may be related to metabolic related diseases, such as obesity, inflammation, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Further researches show that chemerin plays an important role in the occurrence and development of above metabolic related diseases and may become a novel therapeutic target.
