脂质代谢在年龄相关性黄斑变性发病机制中的研究进展

Research progress of lipid metabolism in the pathogenesis of age-related macular degeneration

  • 摘要: 年龄相关性黄斑变性(age-related macular degeneration, AMD)是发达国家不可逆致盲的首要原因,也是中国高患病率、高致盲率的疾病。研究已证明脂质代谢是AMD的发病机制之一,但具体的机制尚未明确,针对这一机制的治疗方法也尚未在临床中得到应用。本文从脂蛋白、脂质代谢相关重要分子、脂质代谢相关治疗等方面探讨脂质代谢与AMD之间的关系,旨在帮助理解脂质代谢机制在AMD发生和发展中的作用,并为未来AMD靶向脂质代谢治疗提供思路。

     

    Abstract: Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the first permanent cause of vision loss in developed countries, which is also a disease with high incidence and blindness rate in China. Studies have demonstrated that lipid metabolism is one of the key mechanisms of AMD. However, the precise mechanism remains unclear and medications for AMD treatments based on this mechanism have not yet been established. In this review, we critically review relevant studies to examine the associations between lipid metabolism and AMD from the perspectives of lipoproteins, lipid metabolism-related molecular, and lipid metabolism-related treatments, aiming to help understand the roles that lipid metabolism mechanisms play in the development and progression of AMD and to provide ideas for future targeted lipid metabolism therapies.
