Abstract:
Live surgery is an important means of continuing medical education, training, new technology demonstration, and academic communication in all fields of surgery. At present, there is still a lack of corresponding consensus or guidelines for live urological surgery in China. Based on the accumulated experience in education, training and academic communication of urological surgery, Chinese Anti-Cancer Association Genitourinary Oncology Committee (CACA-GU) organized relevant experts to formulate this consensus according to the European Urology Association (EAU) guidelines and the current situation of medical system in China, which can be used as a reference for relevant institutions, including medical centers and medical schools. It is expected to standardize live surgery, reduce surgical risk, ensure patient safety, and improve medical quality.
