Abstract:
Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a non-invasive, safe and easy-to-use neuromodulation technique, which has been well applied in basic research and clinical treatment of neuropsychiatric diseases. Neurodegenerative diseases are neurological diseases which are difficult to treat and have poor drug effects. Some studies have shown that rTMS might have a good prospect in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Therefore, this article reviews the clinical application of rTMS in the management of neurodegenerative diseases.
