Abstract:
With the deepening of research, more and more functions of non-coding RNA (ncRNA) have been revealed. The ncRNA can play an important role in normal physiological processes by regulating epigenetics, transcription, and post-transcriptional translation. ncRNA is also closely related to the development of diseases such as tumors and cardiovascular diseases. In recent years, some researches have revealed that ncRNA (microRNA and lncRNA) is closely related to the development of abdominal aortic aneurysm. ncRNA may participate in the development of abdominal aortic aneurysm by regulating endothelial cell dysfunction, smooth muscle cell apoptosis, extracellular matrix degradation, and inflammation. This article aims to summarize the research progress of ncRNA in the development of abdominal aortic aneurysm.
