Abstract:
Objective:To explore the efficacy and strategy of combined hybridization surgery in the treatment of traumatic femoral arteriovenous fistula. Methods:Clinical data of one case of traumatic right femoral arteriovenous fistula from Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University were reviewed. The arteriovenous fistula neoplasty combined with superficial femoral artery ligation was performed under real-time angiography. The surgical strategy and efficacy were analyzed and related literatures were reviewed. Results:The patient’s operation was successful. The right femoral arteriovenous fistula was completely closed and the clinical symptoms were improved rapidly. CTA showed good vascular recovery 4 months after the surgery and no abnormalities were observed during a 6-month follow-up. Conclusions:Intraoperative real-time angiography of combined surgery can provide good guidance for the intraoperative evaluation of femoral arteriovenous fistula and the choice of operation methods, which is beneficial for the patients to obtain more reasonable and effective treatment.
