Abstract:
Inflammation plays an important role in the development of various cardiovascular diseases. CD4+CD25+Foxp3+regulatory T cells (CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg) can inhibit immune overreaction and inflammatory response. A number of recent studies have shown that the level of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg decreased significantly in the peripheral blood of patients with cardiovascular diseases. This paper reviews the correlation between the level of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg in peripheral blood and cardiovascular disease.
