Abstract:
Objective:To explore the basic needs of trachea intubation patients, and discuss its correlative factors. Methods:Totally 181 patients in intensive care unit of cardiac surgery were selected and analyzed by using selfdesigned qustionnaire. Results:The average score of basic needs of trachea intubation patients was 33.78±13.55, among which the highest was physiological needs, the average score of each index was 1.54±0.63. The time of mechanical ventilation was positive correlated with basic needs, while the relationship between age range and basic needs was negative(P<0.05). Conclusions:During the time of trachea intubation, physiological need is patients' primary needs. The longer time with intubation, the more needs they had. And older patients tend to have fewer needs than the young.
