Abstract
The lower-limb rehabilitation robot is designed as automatic rehabilitation equipment based on the principle of exercise relearning. The robotic-assisted gait training (RAGT) enables patients to carry out repetitive, intensive, and task-oriented movements to promote walking recovery. RAGT has shown positive effects on improving balance control, walking ability (including pace, walking distance, symmetry, and coordination), and muscle tone correction, whereas its movement trajectory remained to be optimized. Gait training should be combined with other rehabilitation techniques in clinical rehabilitation to improve walking recovery.
