The design of a new emergency crash cart with lock and its clinical application

  • Objective To explore the clinical application value of the newly designed new lock rescue vehicle.
    Methods A new type of emergency vehicle with status switch lock was designed, and compared with the traditional open emergency vehicle, the qualified rate of drugs and articles, the time-consuming difference of nurses counting and handing over the emergency vehicle were analyzed.
    Results The drug qualification rate and instrument qualification rate were significantly improved from 90.42% to 100% (P < 0.05) and 94.98% to 100% (P < 0.05), respectively; the counting time and the shift handover time was reduced from (34.88±1.95) to (4.92±1.03) h/month (P < 0.05) and from (16.00±0.77) to (2.00±0.17) min/each time (P < 0.05), respectively.
    Conclusions This new emergency crash cart with lock is safe, efficient, time saving and easy to use, it has good application effect and promising development.
