| Abstract:Diabetic foot infection (DFI) is one of the common complications of diabetes mellitus, which can lead to amputation or even death. Recently, the prevalence of multi-drug resistant bacteria has posed a serious challenge to the diagnosis and treatment of DFI in the clinical context. Based on the epidemiology of DFI and individualized pathogenic analysis, timely and rational administration of effective antibiotics is a vital measure to improve patients’ prognosis. This review focuses on research updates in such aspects of DFI, with the purpose of providing a reference for clinical work. |
