Abstract:With the development of global economy, trauma has become a prominent social problem for all mankind. Millions of people die from trauma every year around the world, and severe trauma has become the leading cause of death for young adults in China. The trauma incidence is increasing in China, but the trauma prevention and treatment system in China is still at initial stage compared with foreign trauma prevention and treatment system. The establishment of a whole-process trauma prevention and treatment system including trauma prevention, trauma treatment, rehabilitation follow-up, epidemiological analysis, and policy support plays an important role in promoting the trauma prevention and treatment system in China. |
