The general demographic data, social support and life expectancy of the subjects were investigated using the self-designed general information questionnaire, the social support rating scale and the Herth hope scale. Univariate analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to analyze influence factors of life expectancy level of immediate family members of patients with advanced lung cancer. Results The average Herth hope scale of the immediate family members of patients with advanced lung cancer was 36.58±4.87. The multiple linear regression analysis showed that age, length of care patient, monthly income per capita, and social support were influencing factors of the life expectancy of immediate family members of patients with advanced lung cancer (P<0.05).
