Abstract:Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which performed as one of the most common respiratory diseases, is the third leading cause of death globally. In China, the morbidity of COPD in patients over 40 years old is as high as 13.7%, accompany with a heavy burden on patients and society. For patients with COPD, early diagnosis and intervention is the most important processing strategy. Pulmonary function test (PFT) is deemed as the gold standard of COPD diagnosis at present. However, PFT doesn't seem to work for the high cost, the lack of equipment, and insufficient training of technicians in primary care settings. Questionnaire is a better tool for screening. This paper reviews several questionnaires, and compares their advantages and disadvantages, in further to evaluate the complication value of existing questionnaires and provide reference for our own questionnaire design.
