| Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of external cardioversion (ECV) on arial fibrillation (AF) in patients with left atrial appendage occluder (LAAO).Methods:From May 2016 to December 2019, we enrolled fifty-one patients with LAAO who received ECV for AF in Beijing Hospital, seven patients (13.7%) received ECV, observed the effect of the device and ECV associated adverse events.Results:A total of 51 patients were successfully implanted with the LAAO, among whom 7 patients (13.7%) received ECV after implantation. During the perioperative period, the LAAO did not shift or fall off, and no serious events occurred.Conclusion:ECV for AF seems to be safe and effective in patients with LAAO. |
