Abstract:Objective:To study the clinical effect and application value of abdominal open surgery, conventional laparoscopy, robot assisted laparoscopy for the treatment of uterine fibroids. Methods:The clinical data of 54 patients with uterine fibroids admitted to Changhai Hospital of Navy Medical University from December 2012 to October 2013 were analyzed retrospectively. They were divided into the open surgery group, the conventional laparoscopy group and the robot assisted laparoscopy group. The operation status and postoperative complications were compared between the three groups. Results:The surgical time of the robot assisted laparoscopy group had no significant difference with the other two groups, but the amount of bleeding was significantly less than that in the other two groups (P<0.05), and the intestinal function recovery time was greatly shortened (P<0.05). There were no significant differences between the three groups in postoperative 24 h drainage and postoperative complication rate. The length of postoperative hospital stay of the robot assisted laparoscopy group and the conventional laparoscopy group was significantly less than that in the open surgery group (P<0.05). There was 1 case of incision pain after operation in the open surgery group. Conclusions:The effect of robot assisted laparoscopy for the treatment of uterine fibroids is accurate, with less intraoperative bleeding and fast postoperative intestinal function recovery. It is conducive to early recovery, and of high clinical application value.
