Abstract:Objective:To investigate the predictive effects of multiple biomarkers on heart failure in elderly female patients with gynecologic tumor after surgery. Methods:This retrospective study included 416 elderly female patients with gynecologic tumor after surgical treatment. Patients were divided into the heart failure group and the non heart failure group according to the NYHA classification of cardiac insufficiency. All patients underwent physical examination, laboratory examination, ECG, heart color Doppler sonography and preoperative evaluation of gynecology before operation, and the heart function was evaluated again by heart color Doppler sonography after operation. White blood cell count (WBC), electrocardiogram fragmented QRS complex (fQRS), serum cardiac troponin I (TnI) and N terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide (NT proBNP) were selected as evaluation indexes for predicting cardiac function. Results:〖BP(〗All 416 cases of elderly patients with gynecological tumor underwent gynecological preoperative evaluation and were evaluated as feasible for surgical treatment, so the preoperative evaluation of cardiac function in patients, the NYHA grade, was less than I. 〖BP)〗The appearance of fQRS in heart failure group was significantly higher than that in non heart failure group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The heart failure group had significantly higher WBC, TnI, and NT proBNP levels than the non heart failure group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). 〖BP(〗WBC count, TnI, and NT proBNP were found to be independently related with heart failure by multivariate logistic regression analysis. Elevated fQRS(+), NT proBNP, TnI, and WBC count had a sensitivity of 96.2% and specificity of 85.4% for the prognosis of patients in heart failure. 〖BP)〗The sensitivity of the combination of multiple biomarkers in predicting postoperative heart failure in elderly female with gynecological tumor was 96.2%, and the specificity was 85.4%. Conclusions:The combination of multiple biomarkers can be used to predict postoperative heart failure in elderly female with gynecologic tumor with simple operation methods and effective prediction results.
