Abstract:
Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) technology plays an important role in the treatment of critically ill patients. In recent years, it has been widely used in patients with various acute respiratory and/or circulatory failures. Critically ill patients often face transfer due to demands of examination, treatment, and so on. However, there is currently no relevant guidelines or consensus on the intra-hospital transfer for patients with ECMO at home and abroad. This consensus combined previous researches, based on evidence-based and expert argumentation methods, established nursing consensus of all aspects of ECMO patient transfer, aiming to guide clinical practice.
